After getting a degree in marketing at university, I started working in London in media at Walt Disney Ltd and then moved to fashion at Burberry HQ. After my husband retired from rugby at a ripe old age of 33, we decided to move out of London to a crumbly old farmhouse on the edge of the Cotswolds, just outside Bristol and Bath. Enjoying a career break to bring up our three small children and settle into village life, I fell in love with the suddenly noticeable seasons and life in the country. Combining this with a passion for flowers, gardening and art, floristry was an obvious career move.

I decided against traditional college floristry, and instead started work experience with the brilliant Kirstie Deane at Ruby and the Wolf, who was kind enough to teach me everything I needed to know about wedding and event floristry.

Since then I continue to freelance for Ruby and the Wolf, Vervain, Rowan Blossom, Flowers by Passion, Indigo Yard and Luna in the Wild, as well as working on my own events. I have flowered in the most beautiful venues all over London and the South West of England including The Lost Orangery at Euridge, Babington House, Highgrove, St Giles House, The Pig and Usk Castle to name a few.

With a huge passion for gardens and gardening, I also grow seasonal cottage garden flowers, roses, dahlias, peonies and grasses, in soft muted tones in fitting with a wild natural style. I love to use as much foraged foliage as possible from the surrounding fields, and beautiful seasonal flowers from local growers.
